Allover Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program (PRP) - Frequently Asked Questions
Allover Healthcare Group provides psychiatric rehabilitation services for adults and minors with mental illness. We serve individuals throughout the Metropolitan Baltimore-Washington Area, including those in need of specialized services such as the Autism Waiver Program.
The Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program (PRP) at Allover Healthcare Group helps individuals with severe mental illness achieve a higher level of independence. We assist clients in accessing community services, improving daily living skills, and developing healthy coping mechanisms. Aides provide services in-home and in the community.
For PRP services, the consumer should have Maryland Medical Assistance (MA), Primary Adult Care (PAC), or Employed Individuals with Disabilities (EID) benefits.
Allover Autism Waiver Program
The Autism Waiver Program is designed to provide services to children with autism spectrum disorder in Maryland. The program helps children and families by offering community-based supports that address the unique needs of children with autism. Services include behavior therapy, family training, and other specialized treatments.
To qualify for the Autism Waiver Program, children must meet specific criteria based on age, diagnosis, and functional need. Families must apply through Maryland’s Medicaid system. The program is available to children under 21 who are diagnosed with autism and have significant behavioral challenges.
12-Hour AEP DUI Program - Frequently Asked Questions
The 12-Hour Alcohol Education Program (AEP) is a Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration (MVA) and Department of Health Behavioral Health Administration (BHA) approved program for individuals convicted of DUI or DWI offenses. This program is designed to educate individuals on the dangers of alcohol and drug use while driving. The entire class is $300 for the course. The initial assessment costs $150, so the total cost for the entire 6-week program is $450. Classes are held once a week for 2 hours: Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon and Thursdays from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Upon completion, participants will receive a certificate that is accepted by the court system, MVA, or DMV.
Important: Insurance does not cover this educational program unless you have a clinical diagnosis of substance abuse. If you have a diagnosis, you must enroll in the treatment program instead.
Allover Academy - 3-Hour Alcohol and Drugs Education Program
The 3-Hour Alcohol and Drug Education Program is a Safe and Sober Guide to Driving in Maryland for clients holding an out-of-country license who wish to exchange it for a Maryland driver's license. Upon successful completion of this program, you will be on the right path to exchanging your out-of-country license for a Maryland license. By satisfactorily completing this "Safe and Sober" program, you will receive a "3-Hour Alcohol and Drug Education Program Certificate." This certificate is required to receive a Maryland driver's license and applies only to individuals holding a valid driver's license from a foreign country.
This program is for individuals with an out-of-country license or an international driver's license. If you are from outside the U.S. and have never held a license, you must obtain a learner’s permit.
Allover Academy - Driver Improvement Program
The Driver Improvement Program (DIP) is a Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration (MVA) certified course for drivers who have received points on their driving record or have been involved in a serious traffic violation. The course focuses on educating drivers about safe driving practices, traffic laws, and defensive driving techniques.
Important: Successful completion of the DIP may result in the reduction of points on your driving record and may prevent the suspension of your driver's license.
